Sutton Bonington Campus Refurbishment
During the summer and Autumn term of 2006 Ocon Construction undertook the extensive refurbishment and reconfiguration of a variety of existing halls of residence at the Sutton Bonington Campus.
After careful pre-planning and survey work, all of the upgrade works were delivered within a very tight window.
The works included upgrading existing kitchen, bedroom and bathroom facilities including new Sanitary-ware, bedroom furniture, carpets and decoration throughout.
A total of 114 bedrooms throughout 5 halls were brought up to modern day standards ensuring practicality and comfort for future intakes of students.
Great care had to be taken during the installation of new UPVC windows in Wymeswold halls due to the presence of several families of nesting swifts enjoying the peace and quiet of these rural surroundings.
