Square One
The four storey ex-mail sorting office building with basement was redeveloped, refurbished and fitted out to provide high specification offices for Network Rail.
The existing envelope remains and was brought up to date by the addition of two full height extensions with elements of structural glass.
The scope of the project included the installation of comprehensive ICT infrastructure along with full air conditioning via new raised access floors and ceilings.
Internal flexibility was delivered through careful zoning of systems to maximise client return.
Access within the building was improved with the installation of high speed lifts.
A secure direct pedestrian link building was also constructed to form access to the adjacent Piccadilly train station as well as full perimeter security with car parking space for 500 cars.
