Responsibility
In the highly competitive business that is UK construction, we believe it is important to spell out exactly what it is that differentiates us from our fellow professionals.
We choose the word ‘Responsibility’ to do this, because it encapsulates everything that we consider is most important in defining the way we run our business.
We are a commercial organisation, which means that we exist in order to create value, but we seek to do this only within an ethical framework and subject to four key areas where we believe our main responsibilities lie.
They are: Continuous Improvement, Health & Safety, The Environment and Quality.
Each of these is based on an ongoing development programme or a precisely defined policy, as detailed via the links alongside. We regard these not just as statements of intent but matters of sincere principle and absolute commitment.
Ultimately, our business activities are driven by people, whether they be our clients, our employees or members of the communities where we work. We record our achievements in operational and financial terms, but we measure our success according to how well we meet our responsibilities to the people we work with.
