Bristol Road

This undeniable focal point, an eighteen storey glass and zinc clad tower standing prominently on the main corner of this site, is located on the busy intersection of the main A38 artery into the City of Birmingham.

Built to the full external footprint of the site, the project consists of four individual blocks with an internal courtyard. A luxury leisure suite and internet café transform the site into a sanctuary for the 604 student residents.

Bristol Road was one of the first sites in the country to use ‘Corefast’ to construct the core instead of the more usual reinforced concrete.

Developed by Corus, the revolutionary new system provided a rapid assembly system that is relatively light and robust.
